The Montgomery County LGBT Business Council is a nonprofit LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce serving LGBTQ+ owned +inclusive businesses, professionals, employers across Montgomery County and the Greater Philadelphia region. We strengthen the local economy by providing business growth, professional development, supplier diversity, and inclusive economic opportunity. Through strategic partnerships, advocacy, and programming, we help our members build visibility, revenue, and long-term success. What we provide our members:

-Business listing and visibility through the Montco LGBT Business Gateway on our website
-Professional networking and referral opportunities
-Member announcements and promotion across social media and newsletters
-Discounted access to events, tabling, and sponsorships
-Business education and quarterly programming

Thank you to our member, Resilience Resource Center for hosting the October networking event!

We enjoyed an evening of meaningful conversations, new connections, and continued collaboration with local business owners, nonprofit leaders, and community partners.

Located in Huntingdon Valley, Resilience Resource Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering LGBTQ+ individuals and marginalized communities through accessible mental health services, career development resources, educational programming, support groups, and welcoming community spaces. Their commitment to fostering resilience, personal growth, and a sense of belonging makes them an invaluable resource to our community.

Events like these highlight the importance of strong partnerships and creating opportunities for businesses, organizations, and community leaders to connect, collaborate, and grow together.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and to Resilience Resource Center for opening their doors and sharing their space with our network.

The Montgomery County LGBT Business Council and our President, Britt Kohler, stand alongside the 100 LGBTQ+ community leaders across Pennsylvania condemning anti-LGBTQ+ hate speech by public officials.

Public leadership carries public responsibility. Disparaging remarks about LGBTQ+ people—whether explicit or coded—undermine the dignity, safety, and belonging that everyone deserves.

Our work centers on supporting LGBTQ+ business owners, professionals, and allies. That work includes speaking out against rhetoric that fuels discrimination in our workplaces and communities.

We stand in solidarity with Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta and all LGBTQ+ Pennsylvanians. We call on elected and appointed officials, their colleagues, and community members to confront hate and uphold dignity, respect, and accountability.

A welcoming Pennsylvania requires all of us to speak up. 🏳️‍🌈

Another great night of connection and community!

Thank you to our member Playcrafters of Skippack for hosting our September Montgomery County LGBT Business Council networking event!

It was wonderful seeing members, community partners, and new faces come together to make connections, share what they’re working on, and learn more about one another.

This is what our Business Council is all about — creating spaces where LGBTQ+ and allied businesses, nonprofits, professionals, and community leaders can connect, collaborate, and grow together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We’re excited for everything we have coming this fall!

A huge thank you to our incredible board members Lauren, Colleen, Julie, and Dredeir for representing the Montgomery County LGBT Business Council at Bucks-Mont Pride! Your time, energy, and dedication helped us connect with community members, share resources, and celebrate Pride together.

It was wonderful to see so many of our community partners, local organizations, businesses, and allies all coming together to create a welcoming and inclusive space. These moments remind us that meaningful connections happen when we show up for one another.

What an incredible day at the Lansdale Pride Walk & Roll on Saturday🎉

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, volunteered, sponsored, and helped make this event such a success. The turnout was amazing, and together we made a real impact in our community.

We were honored to be joined by elected officials, community leaders, business owners, and residents who believe in creating a Montgomery County where everyone feels welcomed, safe, supported, and celebrated. Special thanks to the Lansdale Mayor, our State Representative, and our dedicated Board Members who showed up and stood with us.

This event continues to grow every year, and we’re already excited about making it even bigger and better in 2027!
