In the spring of 1926, young businessmen of Ambler met to discuss establishing a Kiwanis club in the community. The club was chartered in May 1926 with the support from the Ambler Rotary Club. Everett H. Seiberg was named president of the club.

we celebrate the birthday of Henry G. Keasbey, who was born on June 1, 1850. Unlike his business partner Dr. Richard V. Mattison of the Keasbey & Mattison Company, Keasbey had a more quiet personality. he'd prefer to live peacefully outside the US away from the busy life. He traveled to France during the winter season mainly for his health. He lived in multiple areas within Lower Gwynedd until settling in Ambler where his wife Anna held meetings for the Women's Temperance Movement.

Thanks in part to us the preservation of this building is underway

Deconstruction--not demolition--of the historic Ambler Train Station Freight House has begun. Built in 1855 and part of the original Wissahickon Station in what is now Amber Borough, the Freight House is one of the last remaining remnants of the station that made Ambler-Ambler! With the advocacy of the Wissahickon Valley Historical Society and the support of local area residents and businesses (1,200 signed a petition to save the Freight House) the Freight House was saved from demolition. Once deconstructed, it will be stored until a suitable place is prepared for it to be rebuilt and once again serve the community.
