We Care

We Care WeCare is an Ambler community non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families struggling with food insecurity.

WeCare sponsors summer programs including Snack Attacks and Activity Thursdays. WeCare is aligned with Family Promise Montco PA. In 2018, the non-profit organization WeCare was established with the mission of facilitating connections for Ambler community families facing food insecurity, helping them access vital support and resources. We're transforming how families seek and receive assistance. A

network has been built, collaborating with key entities like the Wissahickon School District (WSD), Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard, and local non-profits. WeCare works directly with WSD families living in the Ambler community during the school year. We also sponsor free summer programming including Snack Attacks, the distribution of healthy snack bags from the Ambler Borough building and Activity Thursdays, organized for children to learn and meet new friends weekly at Pickering Field.

WeCare Activity Thursdays this week features Wissahickon Ultimate Frisbee WUF, two arts and crafts activities, and our amazing Bike Squad. Get a bike and bring your bike for repair. See you at Pickering Field, 5pm - 6pm. Lots of popsicles and water will be provided. Everything is free.

Snack Attacks returns this week! Come to the Ambler Borough Building at 131 Rosemary Avenue between 4:30pm - 5:30pm to pick up a healthy snack bag. We have lots of books for you to read and take with you, too. Snack Attacks is on Tuesdays Wednesday, and Thursdays this summer.

¡Snack Attacks vuelve esta semana! Ven al Ambler Borough Building en 131 Rosemary Avenue entre las 4:30 p.m. y las 5:30 p.m. para recoger una bolsa de bocadillos saludables. Balloon sculpting with Judy Tudy , face painting with Mermaid Art Studios , slip and slide kickball wiht Grace Baptist Church of Blue Bell, and the WeCare Bike Squad is back! All activities are FREE. Snack Attacks starts TOMORROW, Tuesday, June 16! Come to the Ambler Borough Building at 131 Rosemary Avenue between 4:30pm - 5:30pm to pick up a healthy snack bag. We have lots of books for you to read and take with you, too. Snack Attacks is on Tuesdays Wednesday, and Thursdays this summer.

¡El programa Snack Attacks comienza MAÑANA, martes 16 de junio! Acércate al edificio municipal de Ambler (Ambler Borough Building), ubicado en el 131 de Rosemary Avenue, entre las 4:30 p. m. y las 5:30 p. m., para recoger una bolsa con un refrigerio saludable.
