There is peace to be found in the pause.
In a world that constantly tells us to keep moving, keep producing, and keep doing,

God reminds us that stillness has a purpose.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

Sometimes the pause is where we release the pressure to have everything figured out. It is where we quiet the noise, reconnect with God, and remember that everything does not depend on us.

This Faith Friday, give yourself permission to slow down. You don’t have to fill every quiet moment. Make room for stillness, reflection, and the peace that comes from knowing God is present.

Because true wellness is... TOTAL.

What are you carrying that God may be asking you to release?
At the TOTAL: Mental Health + Wellness Expo, Rev. Tamieka Nicole Gerow will lead “Dying to Live: Releasing What God Never Intended So You Can Receive the Life He Designed.”

This session will invite attendees to consider what needs to be released, explore the difference between holy surrender and unhealthy sacrifice, and recognize how letting go can create room for peace and purpose.

As Rev. Gerow reminds us, wellness does not require perfection. It begins with honesty about what we need and the courage to honor it.

Registration is open. Join us on October 24, 2026, for a day centered on the mind, body, and spirit.

You don’t have to carry everything.
Sometimes emotional exhaustion isn’t just about having too much to do. It comes from carrying responsibilities, expectations, worries, and even other people’s needs that were never meant to be ours to hold.

Part of caring for your mental and emotional well-being is learning to recognize what needs your attention, what needs a boundary, and what simply needs to be released.
Protecting your peace is part of total wellness.

Join us at the TOTAL: Mental Health + Wellness Expo as we continue the conversation about caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

✨ Faith Friday | Find Peace in His Presence
Sometimes peace doesn’t come from getting everything done, fixing every problem, or having all the answers.

Sometimes peace begins when we become still enough to remember who God is. 💜
This week, give yourself permission to slow down, release the pressure to constantly strive, and make room for His presence.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10

Because caring for your spirit is part of caring for your whole self. True wellness is TOTAL.

✨ Faith Friday: Choosing Peace Daily
In a world that constantly competes for our attention, energy, and emotions, choosing peace can be an intentional act of faith.
Colossians 3:15 reminds us:
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…”
That doesn’t mean every situation around us will suddenly become peaceful. It means we can choose what we allow to lead our hearts—even when life feels busy, uncertain, or overwhelming.
Today, take a moment to pause, pray, release what you cannot control, and make room for the peace Christ offers.
💜 Peace isn’t found by accident—it’s cultivated through Christ, one choice at a time.
What are you choosing to release today in order to protect your peace?

🧠 Mental Monday | Small Habits That Improve Your Mental Health

Improving your mental health doesn’t always require big changes. Often, it’s the small, consistent habits practiced each day that have the greatest impact over time.

This week, try incorporating a few simple habits into your daily routine:

☀️ Spend a few minutes in natural sunlight.
💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day.
🌿 Take short breaks to pause and reset.
💜 Speak truth and encouragement over yourself.
😴 Prioritize quality rest each night.

Remember, progress isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency.

Small steps today can create lasting wellness tomorrow.

Join us as we continue the conversation on whole-person wellness at the TOTAL: Mental Health + Wellness Expo.

✨ Faith Friday
Your Mind Matters to God.
In a world filled with stress, uncertainty, and constant demands, it's easy to become overwhelmed. But God's Word reminds us that He cares deeply about our hearts and our minds.
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You." — Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)

Peace doesn't come from having all the answers—it comes from placing our trust in the One who does.

As you finish this week, take a moment to pause, pray, and invite God's peace to guard your thoughts. Your mental and spiritual well-being matter because you matter.

💜 What's one way you can intentionally focus your mind on God's promises today?

🌿 Something Worth Waiting For...
We're putting the final touches on an inspiring lineup of keynote sessions and workshops designed to nurture your mind, body, and spirit.

Registration opens soon! Stay connected—you won't want to miss what's in store.
