Meet Cody!! This 30-pound lovable fellow is about 6 months old and is a sweet mix of heeler, hound and a sprinkling of beagle maybe. He keeps himself busy--inside, following the Swiffer is a very popular activity; outside, collecting sticks is a must-do. He loves playing with the resident dogs and exploring the fenced-in yard--after all, leaves are just asking to be pounced on.

Cody enjoys his walks around the neighborhood, and seeing birds of all sizes adds to the fun. He loves snuggling on a favorite lounge chair--as long as a foster family member provides a warm lap and blanket--plus the gentle rocking brings the final dose of comfy and eyes closed. His foster family has been very diligent about getting him out and about for potty breaks and he is getting very good grades. He is ready for his next adventure--and maybe that might include you!

Foster Spotlight: Gunner

Gunner hasn't gotten any applications sadly! He is a housetrained, medium sized guy who likes snuggling, walks and car rides. Gunner was owned by a veteran who had to be hospitalized and could no longer care for him. Since he was the only dog living with one human we think he might prefer a home on the more quiet side, similar to what he was used to.

Looking for foster and/or adopter!

Gunner is a 5 year old scruffy terrier/hound mix who weighs just under 50lbs. Gunner landed in the shelter after having a home so he already has the hang of a number of things. Sadly his owner fell ill and had to be hospitalized indefinitely.

Gunner enjoys riding in the car and going for walks! He likes to follow his nose so he pulls some with just a collar, but is quite manageable in a chest-leading harness. This guy does not like crates but that is not an issue because he is already house-trained! Gunner is comfortable in a home and has no issues exploring all floors of the house, so steps are not an issue. He is a cuddly guy who enjoys a dog bed and the opportunity to cuddle with people on the couch.

Gunner was an only dog but has been friendly to the other dogs in the shelter and foster home. He could go with or without a dog companion. We do not have information on Gunner and cats. We would recommend Gunner be in a home on the more quiet side since that is what he is used to (no tiny kiddos).

We are always looking to add fosters to our organization! There are so many dogs in need and so many shelters that are full.

We provide the supplies and vet care at our network of approved vet clinics. We also help promote the dog, screen applicants and support you along the way.

There are so many dogs in need we can work with you to find the right fit for your home. Puppies, older dogs, small dogs, large dogs and everything in between can be found in the shelters looking for a soft place to land.

Fostering is still possible with a full time job, multiple jobs, kids, other pets and many other situations!

These 2 sweet kitties are in need of a forever home! The cats are both about 4 years old, and are neutered males. They’re up to date on all shots etc. Their names are Kyle and Bryce. They are both super friendly and love everyone, including dogs. ☺️

They were saved from ACCT but now their owner is moving into a senior living facility and can no longer care for them. We are hoping our network can help spread the word and share them to find them a loving home.

Meet Carson! A Loving, Playful Labradoodle Looking for His Next Family:

Carson is a lovable, affectionate, and social 9-year-old Labradoodle weighing approximately 45 pounds. He has a wonderful temperament and is a truly family-oriented dog who loves being around people. He is non-aggressive, friendly with other dogs, and great with adults and children.
Don't let his age fool you! Carson is still a playful, energetic boy who loves life and has plenty of enthusiasm to share with his next family. He is in excellent health, has a clean bill of health, and has lots of love left to give.
Carson is house-trained, enjoys playing fetch and other games, and knows all the basic commands along with several more advanced ones. He is an intelligent dog who enjoys interacting with his family, playing, and being part of everyday life.
One of Carson's favorite things is simply having company. He is a social dog who forms strong bonds with his family and thrives when he has people around him. He can get lonely when left alone for extended periods, so we believe he would be happiest in a home where someone is home regularly or where he has another friendly dog for companionship.
Unfortunately, due to a change in job and work situations Carson is looking for a new forever home. One where people will have the time to be with him and the companionship he thrives off of.
The hope is to find Carson a home where he will be loved, included in family life, and surrounded by his people. He would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a friendly, affectionate, playful companion who gets along well with people of all ages and other dogs.
Carson has so much love to give. He deserves a home where he can feel happy, secure, and truly part of the family.

This 10-month-old Shepherd/Lab mix weighs about 40–45 pounds and is as sweet as they come. ❤️ She may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and will absolutely melt your heart. Dandy just wants to please her people, and with her loving personality, intelligence, and eagerness to learn, she’s sure to make an amazing addition to the right family. She has the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and laid-back cuddle time, and she’s been a joy to foster! Dandy is the kind of dog who will make you smile every day. She’s smart, affectionate, adventurous, and eager to be someone’s very best friend. All she needs now is a family to love her as much as she’ll love them!

Adopted!

Joey is a sweet, 6-month-old male, 25 pound, Lab-mix who is ready to steal your heart and claim your lap. While the shelter originally named him after one of the Jonas Brothers, his foster family quickly realized he is much more like Joey from Friends—especially with those soulful, melting "How you doin’?" eyes. 🐾

The Perfect Package
Joey gives you all the best parts of having a puppy with almost none of the trouble. He is expected to grow to a manageable 50 lbs and already has the calm demeanor and pleasant personality of a much older dog.

The Ultimate Velcro Dog: Joey’s absolute favorite place to be is curled up on your lap or right by your side. He is a true "velcro dog" who loves nothing more than being held exactly like a baby.

A+ House Manners: He is mostly house-trained, loves his toys, and chooses to chew on them rather than your belongings. While he has typical puppy curiosity, he is incredibly easy to redirect.

Crate & Car Champ: He enjoys car rides (usually curling up for a nap) and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate after just a minute or two of settling down.

Smart & Food-Motivated: He takes commands beautifully, is eager to learn, and is highly motivated by treats!

The Great Diplomat (Kids, Dogs, and Cats!)
One of Joey’s most remarkable traits is how beautifully he adjusts his personality to match anyone he meets.
