Susan Fazio Foundation for Melanoma Research The Susan Fazio Foundation was created in January 2006, after the death of Susan Fazio to mucosal melanoma.

To date, the SFF has raised over $300,000 and has funded five research grants in Susan's name. The Susan Fazio Foundation holds different fundraisers throughout the year including a golf outing, a 5K race, and a silent/live auction gala. Every dollar raised is channelled through the Melanoma Research Foundation who helps the SFF assign research grants to promising scientists in the field.
