Your HIV treatment should work for YOU. ❤️
Many people living with HIV are able to stay on the same effective treatment regimen for years. But treatment isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some people have difficulty taking medication consistently, experience side effects, have trouble maintaining viral suppression, or simply need a regimen that better fits their lifestyle.
The good news? HIV treatment has come a long way.
Today’s antiretroviral medications are highly effective, generally well tolerated, and many are designed to be simple and convenient. For many people, treatment can mean taking one pill once a day. Other options may be appropriate depending on your individual health needs, treatment history, and preferences.
If your current treatment isn’t working well for you or isn’t fitting your life the way you’d like talk to your healthcare provider.
Switching treatments may be an option, but it should always be done with medical guidance to protect viral suppression and future treatment options.
At PASO, we can help connect individuals living with HIV to healthcare and supportive resources so you can work with a healthcare professional to find the care that’s right for you.
You have options. You have support. You don’t have to navigate HIV alone.
