Do we want to do Amacon next year? It will be held on July 31st and August 1st of 2021 (if it doesn't get cancelled again by covid-19 or something else that pops up that time next year). It would be a demo for us. Would there be any interest of doing that next year?

Would anyone be interested in hosting a bardic and A&S event (with competitions) virtually? It would be mostly A&S classes, this would be our first event if we wanted to do it. Is there any intrest in doing a virtually event?

During populace, we discussed about having archery and thrown weapons practice (we are in phase 1 of reopening which is just archery and thrown weapons, face masks required). Would anyone be interested in participating in either of those things?

Woah, what a weekend!

We are winding down now, but want to invite all who stopped by during AMA-Con this weekend to come out to Memorial Park in Amarillo this next Sunday for fighter practice!

The artisan contingent will also be setting up tables for people to learn new skills and see what the SCA is, in our natural habitat.

We will be at Memorial Park starting at noon Sunday Aug. 12

Sunday fighter practice:

*****NEW INFO*****
* Starting this Sunday we will be moving the start time to noon, to take advantage of the cooler morning weather, the time is 12-4. (12 until people pack up, so it can be later)

*At fighter practice on Sunday we will walk over to the new area where we will be fighting for the rest of the summer. We will be parking behind Parcelles hall, since that parking is never used on Sundays, and will be using the tree shade to the right and the open field/track area for sparring.

* This move is in prep for summer, since the splash pad will be in use starting Memorial Day weekend.

Keep the fun going!

We are opening the house from 2-5 today for archery practice. It'll keep going as long as the sky isn't spitting.

Richard has loaner bows.

And I have a cleared table, serger and sewing machine for anyone who wants to hang out and sew or art.
