Today we honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. Their bravery changed the course of history and secured freedoms we continue to cherish today.
The Chippewa Valley Veterans Tribute remembers and thanks all who served, fought, and gave everything on June 6, 1944. May we never forget the incredible cost of freedom and the generations of service members who answered the call with unwavering courage.

As May comes to a close, Military Appreciation Month is wrapping up, but our gratitude for those who serve never does.

At the Chippewa Valley Veterans Tribute, we believe honoring our military and veterans is something that happens year-round, not just in May. Their service, sacrifice, and dedication deserve recognition every day of the year.

The Veterans Tribute Trail remains open year-round as a place for reflection, remembrance, and appreciation for all who have served. We invite you to visit anytime and continue honoring the heroes who make our freedoms possible.

This summer, the Chippewa Valley comes together to honor those who served 🇺🇸

For a $60 donation, you can dedicate a flag in honor of a veteran or first responder. Flags will be proudly displayed at Country Jam, Summer Jam, and the Chippewa Valley Veterans Tribute Trail throughout the Independence Day season, serving as a powerful reminder of the sacrifice and service of our local heroes.

Even more meaningful, 100% of proceeds support the creation of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Korean Veterans Memorial, helping bring these lasting tributes to life.

Be part of something bigger. Honor a hero.

Today we recognize National Poppy Day — a symbol of remembrance, sacrifice, and the enduring legacy of those who served our country.

After World War I, bright red poppies began blooming across the battlefields of Europe, especially in the fields of Flanders. Inspired by the poem “In Flanders Fields” by John McCrae, the poppy became a lasting symbol honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service. In 1920, the American Legion officially adopted the poppy as its flower of remembrance.

As you see poppies worn and displayed today, we encourage you to take a moment to remember the sacrifices made for our freedom and honor the veterans and service members who have served our nation.

May we always carry their memory forward.
