Many of you will remember Mabel, the severe neglect case we took in 2025. Many of you stepped up countless times to help save her life.
Mabel was adopted to the most amazing woman last September. She’s been living the dream country life, and it has been the absolute best for this girl.
Unfortunately Mabel has been diagnosed with cancer. She is only 4 years old. She hasn’t even been in her forever home for a full year.
Mabel’s vet expenses are going to be heavy, as one of her Lymph nodes needs to be removed. Further treatment will be needed once that has taken place.

We are committed to helping Mabel as she begins her fight with cancer. We are asking for your support to help her.
We will be auctioning off some handmade collars this upcoming week with 100% of proceeds going directly to her vet bills.
Mabel fought so hard to survive severe neglect and starvation. She deserves to live in her wonderful home. Her surgery takes place July 21st.

We love a lil’ Christmas Magic 🎁🐾
A week and a half ago, our Executive Director found this floppy puppy running around a parking lot. After a 5 day stray hold at Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) we made a promise to find him a forever home. Today we made the trip up north to bring him to his new mama. She unfortunately lost her beloved dog to cancer a few weeks ago and when she saw Roscoe, she knew she wanted to be his forever home. 🏡 🖤
It was an absolute pleasure to match these two just a week away from Christmas. This is why we do what we do, no matter what resources we do or don’t have. No dog deserves to be left alone out in the cold.
Roscoe, we can’t wait to watch you grow into those long legs and floppy ears. You are so loved, and have a wonderful life ahead of you. Congratulations sweet baby boy! 🐾🖤🥰🥹
