We are honored to share some great news—on July 31, 2026, we learned that Sofas For Service, Inc. was selected as one of 14 Wisconsin nonprofit veteran-serving organizations to receive a FY27 grant supporting veterans.

We are deeply grateful to the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs for believing in our mission and entrusting us with the resources to continue serving those who have served our nation.

For the veterans and families we support, this grant represents far more than funding. It means a bed to sleep in, a furnished home to return to, and the comfort, stability, and dignity that every veteran deserves. It means fewer nights of uncertainty and more opportunities to rebuild lives with confidence and hope.

To every donor, volunteer, partner, and supporter who has stood beside us—this achievement is your impact. Because of you, veterans in our communities are finding comfort, security, and a place to call home.

Help us help veterans tonight 4/24/2026 from 4 to 9 PM. We will receive 10% of all in-restaurant sales plus tips. Sofas' volunteers will be bussing tables at Pizza Ranch (2451 Truax Blvd, Eau Claire); tickets for the May 16th 8th annual Spaghetti Fundraiser & Silent Auction will also be available for sale. Thanks to all of our supporters.

Come see us at Hy-Vee today 10 AM to 2 PM. We have discount cards for Pizza Ranch and tickets for our spaghetti feed May 16. Also will be at Pizza Ranch busing tables and handing out information on Friday, April 24 (that’s a change from the 23rd).
