Please join us in welcoming Andrew Lorenz of Ruder Ware as the newest member of the JA of Wisconsin Northwest Board of Directors!

“As a parent, I see how valuable it is for students to understand how the business community works and where they fit within it. Junior Achievement plays an important role in building that awareness early on. I am excited to join the board and contribute both my perspective as a parent and my experience as an attorney to support students across our region.”

After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, Andrew pursued a legal career and has built an impressive background in trial and appellate litigation. Before joining Ruder Ware in 2020, he served as a law clerk for two Wisconsin judges, most recently with the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. He focuses his practice on business disputes, real estate development, leasing, and land use—and recently argued and won a case before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

An Eau Claire native, Andrew lives in the area with his wife and their three (soon to be four!) children.

We’re excited to have Andrew’s leadership and perspective helping advance our mission of empowering students across Northwest Wisconsin. Welcome, Andrew! 👏

We had a great week hosting a Construction & Woodworking Camp with University of Wisconsin-Stout 🔨

Middle school students got hands-on experience creating cutting boards, coasters, and more, toured an active hospital construction site in Chippewa with theboldtcoBoldt, and learned valuable soft skills like resumes and job searching.

Such a fun and inspiring experience for our future builders, JA hosts multiple camps during the summer for your kids to enjoy!
