AAUW-Eau Claire celebrated with a panel of 5 women lawyers from the area. (2 were judges). Women have gained equity in the legal field, but the progress must continue, both in the United States and worldwide.

Today the world marks - a moment to celebrate progress, harness the power of collective action, and stand in solidarity with women and girls everywhere.

While many celebrate, we also hold space for those facing conflict, injustice, and the ongoing struggle for . Their courage serves as a salient reminder of why matters.

Together, let’s keep lifting each other up, amplifying voices, and giving support, so women and girls everywhere can gain in moving forward.

Great news--there will be a 2026 AAUW Used Book Sale!
Dates are Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20, at the Eau Claire County Expo Center. Watch for information on donating your used books in August.

Thanks to all who supported our annual used book sale—and made it the BEST EVER. Wonderful books were donated, most of the books were sold, and the remaining were donated. Funds raised help support scholarships for adult students at UWEC and CVTC.

Stock up on books today, September 21, from 10-3. Books by the bag are great for Little Libraries, winter reading, children, etc. There’s plenty of parking at the Eau Claire County Expo Center.

Our used book sale continues today, September 20, 9-5 at the Eau Claire County Expo Center. The selection of books is great, so come out to browse and buy. Proceeds help to fund scholarships to UWEC and CVTC.
