Put a donation jar is your business! The ideas are endless! All proceeds to benefit CP treatments/research. Mission Statement: the Make Lemon Aide organization evolved from the tender heart of 15-year old Laur

en Walier in her journey of challenges and self-discovery as a young person with cerebral palsy(CP). Through her innocence and simple belief that we can all make a difference, the organization's goal is to raise awareness of the condition by engaging the talents and abilities of young people. Through this effort, the organization raises funds to support the development of new treatments, advanced research, and create a public forum of information exchange to improve the quality of lives of individuals and families affected by CP. First time on the treadmill, and she showed us what hard work looks like. 💪🏼

Our girl keeps putting in the hard work, showing up, and does it all with the sweetest smile.

So proud of her for embracing the challenge, staying determined, and reminding us that progress starts with simply showing up. One step at a time! 🏃‍♀️✨

Welcome to Spill the Lemons 🍋
Life doesn’t always give us lemonade. Sometimes it gives us lemons. Hard seasons. Unexpected detours. Big changes. Little disappointments. Moments that challenge us, stretch us, humble us, or teach us something we never expected to learn. And sometimes… those lemons become the stories that connect us. So, the Make Lemon Aide for Cerebral Palsy is starting something new:
🍋 SPILL THE LEMONS 🍋
A space to share the real stuff. The lessons. The laughs. The struggles. The wins. The people who helped us along the way. And everything in between. Whether you're joining us from New York, Georgia, California, Texas, Alaska, or somewhere in between — there's a place for you here. Community isn't about having the same story. It's about knowing you're not the only one.
So let's kick things off:
👇 What's one “lemon” life has handed you that taught you something valuable?
It can be big or small. It can be funny. It can be something you're still figuring out. Spill it! 🍋 While you're here, tell us what city, state you're spilling from! 🇺🇸
Let's see how far this community reaches. 💛 Please tag someone with Cerebral Palsy 💛 Love, Lauren 💛

💛Mystery Solved! 💛
For years, doctors attributed Lauren’s debilitating fatigue to her Cerebral Palsy. And while we know that living with CP can come with a laundry list of related or “spin-off” conditions, we also know something incredibly important: Cerebral Palsy should never put you in a box.
Not every symptom or medical condition is a result of CP.
Several months ago, Lauren was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease, a condition in which her adrenal glands don’t produce the hormones her body needs. Suddenly, so many years of unexplained fatigue started to make sense.
Lauren now wears a pump that delivers her medication continuously and a monitor to help keep an eye on her blood sugar. Interestingly enough, she uses much of the same equipment as her sister, who has Type 1 diabetes. 💛
This experience has been such an important reminder that sometimes we have to be our own advocates. We have to keep asking questions, push for more answers, see new doctors even if it’s countless and trust our instincts when something doesn’t feel right.
We are so incredibly grateful that we kept pushing. We finally found an answer.
So, to anyone living with Cerebral Palsy: don’t let CP define every symptom, every struggle, or every diagnosis. Keep advocating. Keep asking. Keep pushing for answers.
You know your body and sometimes, the mystery really can be solved. 💛🍋

Support isn’t just something we say….it’s something we do. Let’s show up, speak up, and take action to support individuals with cerebral palsy (CP). Every action matters. Every voice matters. Together, we can create greater awareness, inclusion, accessibility, and opportunity for people with CP. Share if you agree! 💛
