Today, we celebrate the 6th anniversary of the Birdshot Uveitis Society of North America (BUSNA).

What began as a small group of patients determined to make a difference has grown into a thriving community dedicated to supporting those affected by birdshot uveitis, advancing awareness, and funding birdshot-specific research.

As we mark this milestone, we extend our sincere thanks to each and everyone of you in our birdshot community who have supported our mission. Your generosity and participation have helped make meaningful progress possible for those living with birdshot uveitis

Learn about the benefits of Vitamin D from Mayo Clinic.

Vitamin D plays an important role in bone health, immune system function and overall health. Often called the “sunshine vitamin,” vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium and maintain strong bones, but low vitamin D levels are common worldwide.

You can get vitamin D from sunlight, foods such as salmon, tuna, egg yolks and fortified milk, and vitamin D supplements. People who spend most of their time indoors, live in northern climates or have darker skin may be at higher risk for vitamin D deficiency.
