The 2026 UNM Esports Invitational is now a wrap🎬

We want to send a sincere thank you to all of you, friends, fans, gamers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone in between. This event would not have been possible without any of you. 20+ schools, hundreds of gamers who gave it their all, and so many people who broke their backs behind the scenes to make it all happen. All of you made this weekend A MOVIE.

When UNM Esports first started, it was an outlet for students passionate about gaming to find friends and community. Over time, this molded and grew into a culture of winning and competitive drive. Now, after years of blood, sweat, and tears, we can say that winning culture grew into a culture of influence.

This event has been years in the making, and we hope that the spectacular events of this weekend inspired some of you reading this to chase your dreams in the magic of esports.

Stay tuned, because there is so much more to come. Throughout the week, we will be shouting out every team and every player that took home some hardware today.

With that being said, for now we must bid you adieu.

Gamers,

Goodnight, MWAH, and goodbye, BANG 🐺
