The Friends Bookshop will be closed tomorrow 8/28, and we’ll also be closed to volunteers and donors all day.

We’ll miss you! Come see us at our Friends of the Library North Valley Pop-Up Sale on Saturday!

The Special Collections, South Broadway and Main Libraries will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 28 due to staff development training.

Regular library hours will resume on Saturday, August 29.

We’re hosting a pop-up book and media sale at the Rudolfo Anaya North Valley library this Saturday, August 29th! Stop by between 10:30 AM and 2 PM for great deals on quality gently-used books and media.

We’re brining a selection of fiction and nonfiction for all ages as well as DVDs, CDs, puzzles and more. We’ll have book for all ages—kids books are almost all under $1.

Between our annual sci-fi sale and our Monday bag sale, we raised over $10,300 for the Public Library of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County in two days! We kinda can’t believe it! Our deepest gratitude to every single reader, puzzler, cinephile, and music enthusiast who stopped by the Main Library the last few days.

In just the first two hours of our Saturday sale, over 650 people came through the doors! Thank you all for your patience as our volunteers worked hard to check out all of our customers as quickly as possible.
