Empowering Native Artists & Protecting Indigenous Cultural Heritage 🌿 NM —> WA

New Mexico Community Capital is proud to highlight our Resilience Hub Coordinator, Loni Bernally, who represented NMCC as a co-facilitator and featured speaker at the Association for Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ATALM) 2026 International Conference in Spokane, WA. 

Alongside co-facilitator Heidi Brandow, Loni led a crucial panel session: “Strengthening Institutional Support for Native Artists.” 

Key themes and discussions from the session included:
🔹 Expanding institutional and policy-level support for Native creators.
🔹 Navigating the impact of Emerging Tech & AI on Indigenous intellectual property rights.
🔹 Sustainable strategies for preserving Indigenous heritage for the next seven generations.
