SOUL & SPIRIT at the Albany Museum of Art this evening was a spirited lead-in to the Juneteenth holiday on Friday, which celebrates the 160th anniversary of the date when the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached the last part of the post-Civil War South. Congratulations to the “Miami Heat,” the top team in tonight’s challenging Black history trivia competition! And thank you to everyone who came to the AMA tonight to celebrate on the eve of Freedom Day!
