We love having the opportunity to take adventures with the individuals we support! Chad recently got to take a trip to San Antonio, and he was beyond excited about the experience. One of the highlights of his journey was getting to sit in the cockpit with the pilot on his Delta flight and receiving his very own wings. It was a special moment that made an already memorable trip even more exciting!

Meet Benny. Benny was featured on a television program and in The Albany Herald to highlight the importance of independent living and raise awareness for people with disabilities. At the time, Benny was 21 years old. His mother shared, “Benny loves life; his handicap hasn’t slowed him down one iota. He’s a well-mannered, happy person who loves to draw, dance, dress up, and participate in sports.”

Not much has changed over the years. Benny still brings the same bright spirit and joyful energy everywhere he goes. He loves to dance and remains the biggest Albany State Golden Rams fan you will ever meet! We are so grateful to continue having Benny as a cherished part of The Arc of Southwest Georgia family.
