More than a tournament.

James A. Ragan was a Corpus Christi native who grew up on the Legends Junior Tour. He won the 2010 Jimmy Demaret Junior Classic, earned a spot on the Jackie Burke Cup and received the tour’s first Sportsmanship Award, which now carries his name.

Diagnosed with bone cancer at 13, James turned a birthday party into a movement. The Triumph Over Kid Cancer Foundation he started with his family and friends has raised more than $3 million for pediatric cancer research.
This weekend, 84 juniors tee it up at Corpus Christi Country Club, James’ home course, for the James A. Ragan Memorial.
