Les Lacs is in Bloom

Addison in Bloom, a vibrant 3-panel mosaic featuring flowers and pollinators created by artists Rachel Rodi and Itzayana Elkins, was commissioned by the Addison Arbor Foundation. Located at the north end of the Les Lacs pond off Beltway Drive.

Bosque Park Donation

We contributed over $10,500 in 2025 to the Town of Addison to supplement funding for Bosque Park landscaping improvements. This contribution was made possible by resident and business donations to the Addison Arbor Foundation. We appreciate your past support and future donations!

Come see Continuous Loops by Eugene Perry and Harmony Birds by Dale Rogers in the beautifully landscaped Beltway Drive greenspace! The Addison Arbor Foundation teamed with the Town to bring these harmonious sculptures to Addison.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Earth Day this week! Last month the Addison Arbor Foundation celebrated its 30th anniversary! Over the last 30 years we’ve sponsored 25 public art works, 5 wood animal carvings, benches as well as the planting of over 350 trees and multiple landscaping projects. We have 3 upcoming installations coming later this year at the Treehouse Phase I site thanks to AMLI. Stay tuned!

If you are interested in having your name or a loved ones’ on a plaque for public art, we are still accepting project donations for Golden Hour, Meditation, The Three Tenors and Rocko through May 15th. Happy Holidays and wishing everyone a Happy New Year from the Addison Arbor Foundation!

The Town of Addison published the results of the Public Art Survey in the December 20th newsletter. Some of the findings include:
• 80% of the respondents believe public art is an important or very important element of Addison’s parks, open spaces, and overall town image.
• There is positive feedback and support for a diversity of public art styles
• 73% of participants have seen more than 10 of Addison’s 26 public art installations

Where's Aikido?
No worries - Aikido was removed for maintenance and will return. In the meantime, you can see the other 23 public artworks sponsored by the Addison Arbor Foundation as well as Blueprints and Sun Up at Quorum.

David and Linda Hickman were in Addison to visit with us and see the Aikido sculpture at the Galaxy FBO. David is well known for his wonderful kinetic artworks. In addition to Aikido, he created the beautiful butterflies - Aerial Ballet - Monarch - at Vitruvian and the upcoming Team Illusion bicycles for the Cotton Belt Trail. Jamie Munoz of Galaxy was there along with Dr. Jay Ihrig and other members of the Addison Arbor Foundation.

Thanks to everyone that came for the dedication of these two wonderful dynamic duo sculptures in Addison Circle Park. Tango Fantasia by Art Fairchild represents two tango figures dancing and Aikido by David B. Hickman represents two martial arts figures.
