This Sukkot, DHFLA is participating, with our community partners, in the JCC Dallas' festive Sukkah Village. The DHFLA sukkah will share our story and mission. Come experience the joy, creativity and connection of the J's 2nd annual Sukkah Village. Wander through the booths, explore, and have a blast with your family and friends!

Don’t miss this community gathering on Wednesday, September 30, at the Aaron Family JCC from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for kids ages 1–14, and free for infants under one. Admission includes a delicious pizza dinner from J Gourmet!

When your child needs support, waiting isn't always an option.

Many Texas families applied for a Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) but were placed on a waitlist or did not receive funding due to overwhelming demand. More than 121,000 students remain on the year-one waitlist.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Fichtenbaum Charitable Trust, DHFLA is expanding access to interest-free Special Needs Loans for Jewish families with children who have special education needs or learning differences.

Loans of up to $10,000 can help cover:

✅ Educational therapies
✅ Tutoring and academic support
✅ Diagnostic evaluations
✅ Speech and occupational therapy
✅ Other educational and support services
