At A Fresh Start, we understand that life can become overwhelming. Sometimes, keeping up with everyday tasks like cleaning can feel impossible when you’re dealing with illness, grief, financial hardship, mental or physical health challenges, becoming a single parent, or simply trying to start over.

There is absolutely no shame in needing help.

Our goal is to provide free cleanings to those who need a helping hand and a fresh start. Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign that you’re continuing to move forward, even when things are difficult.

For those who may not know, A Fresh Start was created from my own passion for helping others through Positive Vibe Cleaning. Over the years, I’ve met so many people who weren’t lazy or unwilling to clean, they were simply overwhelmed. Whether it was because of grief, illness, becoming a single parent, leaving a difficult situation, or just life’s hardships, they needed a helping hand and a fresh start.

My dream is to make A Fresh Start an official nonprofit that provides free cleanings to individuals and families in need throughout our community.

I’m currently looking for individuals, businesses, churches, and community organizations that would be willing to host or help with a fundraiser. Funds raised will go toward filing fees and expenses to become an official nonprofit, purchasing cleaning supplies, and providing free cleaning services for those who need them most.

Positive Vibe Cleaning has always been about more than cleaning homes, it’s about helping people. A Fresh Start is an extension of that mission.

• Seniors who need extra help
• Families experiencing financial hardship

What Is A Fresh Start?

A Fresh Start is a community program created to provide one-time free deep cleanings for individuals and families facing significant hardships that make it difficult or impossible to clean their homes on their own.

Our mission is to help people who are experiencing situations such as:

* Serious illness or injury
* Physical or mental health challenges
* Disabilities
* Loss of a loved one
* Domestic violence survivors starting over
* Financial hardship that has left a home in unsafe or overwhelming condition
* Other life crises where a clean, healthy home can truly make a difference

We believe everyone deserves a safe, clean place to live, and sometimes all it takes is one helping hand to give someone a fresh start.

Why Don’t We Offer Free Cleanings for Moving?

While we understand that moving can be stressful and expensive, move-in and move-out cleanings are considered a standard service rather than an emergency hardship. Many people move for positive reasons, such as purchasing a home, upgrading, or relocating for work.

Because A Fresh Start has limited time, volunteers, and resources, we must reserve our free cleanings for those facing the greatest hardships and situations where health, safety, or a major life crisis is involved.

Unfortunately, if we accepted every request for moving-related cleanings or other non-hardship situations, we would not have the resources to help those who truly have nowhere else to turn.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. By keeping our focus on those in genuine need, we can continue making a meaningful impact in our community—one home, one family, and one fresh start at a time.
