Pontotoc County Young Life is in the beginning stages of launching. We are Praying and Gathering together those in the community with a heart to reach to the youth of Pontotoc County. "Young Life is a world class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them -- fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we

earn the privilege of talking to them about the good news of Jesus and His love for them. Kids' lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, and they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose." Our Mission:
~Going where kids are and building personal relationships with them
~Providing fun, adventurous, life-changing experiences
~Working in community alongside like-minded adults.

As a 2 week to month-long volunteer at a Young Life camp, you'll have the chance to grow personally and spiritually — you'll be surrounded by other people who, like yourself, really want their lives to count for something and who desire to serve as Jesus did thousands of years ago.

To be eligible, you must have completed one year of high school and complete your local area's work crew training course.

Big news for Pontotoc Young Life! 🎉

The Young Life Committee is excited to announce a huge milestone in our mission to connect with local students — thanks to the incredible support of our community - we are officially hiring a full-time Area Director! 🙌

This role will help us continue building meaningful relationships with students and expanding our reach throughout Pontotoc Co.

Last night was all that we hoped for and more! 💚💙

We loved celebrating what it means to be KNOWN and sharing stories of how Young Life could help every student in Pontotoc County experience that same kind of pursuit and love.
And we had some fun along the way—huge shoutout to our guest musician, Matt Wright, for “Let’s Talk Pontotoc,” complete with Crazy Corner and Wintersmith Park! 🎹

It was a joy to share the evening with so many of you, and we’re looking forward to all that’s ahead!

It’s one of our favorite times of the year again—celebrating middle school teachers in Pontotoc County! 🍎
