Outreach Bible Project

Outreach Bible Project Our aim is to get the scriptures out to a lost and dying world, while helping the average Christian become an above average soul winner.

We work with churches to help them fulfill the great commission and train people to overcome their fear of witnessing. In most cases we go to large sporting events such as the Olympics Games and Super Bowls.

What an incredible start to the World Cup Outreach in Atlanta! Thank you to City Baptist Church of Atlanta and Pastor Mark McElreath for hosting. Their preparation and hospitality helped set the tone for a great day of ministry.
We were blessed to have 20 participants join us this morning. after a short orientation, teams spread out across the city. By God’s grace, we estimate that nearly 2,000 scriptures were placed into people’s hands.

Westcoast OBP’s first World Cup Outreach. I met Jennifer and Joe Lloyd to make a team of three. A small team for sure! But we were not alone!
Matt 18:20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, their I am in the midst of them.
We were a powerful team talking to dozens of people at the FIFA World Cup fan fest at the LA Memorial Stadium Saturday. Spending 7 hours at the Stadium we gave away over 1000 scriptures. Praise the Lord. Thanks Joe and Jen. Great job.

Hugh and his sending church, Alvin Missionary Baptist Church, sent out twenty members to the streets of Houston for our first OBP World Cup Outreach. They handed out 2,000+ scriptures and had multiple Gospel conversations. We were told by the weatherman that it was a rain-out, but God gave us blue skies and divine appointments! PRAISE GOD!

Another Outreach, another victory for the Lord! We had a great time at the Pismo Car Show. We had 21 people from 4 churches here and gave away 2800 John & Romans. Several divine appointments, giving people the gospel, the encouragement or the prayer they needed. Thank you to LMBC Arroyo Grande and LMBC Lompoc for hosting!!

Brother Kevin Pearcey up in New York/New jersey area is looking to see how many people are interested in participating in an outreach on the final weekend of the World Cup. June 17-20 approximately . Please reply to this thread and let me know if you are truly interested. He is trying to put together some information about cost and of course it depends on how many people would be coming.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ
The World Cup is just around the corner, and it will be gone before we know it. Regardless of where you live there may be an Outreach near you. Please check with your local Church and see what they are doing and how you can help. Here in Atlanta, we will be hosting 8 Matches, and I hope Hillcrest Baptist Church will be involved in each one.
This weekend we will be assembling 22,000 Books of Romans for this Outreach so if you are in the area come on by and lend a hand. Start time Friday is at 6:00 PM and Saturday morning we will start at 9:00 AM.
The final match of the World Cup will take place in New Jersey on July 19th. I have been talking with a pastor in New York because he is wanting to put together a group to go out and do evangelism that weekend. My question is do we have anyone interested in taking part? It looks like the cost of lodging would be about $300 for the weekend.

Please let me know if you are interested.

All team members are on their way and I am sitting on the plane waiting to take off. So this is my last post from Milano. This was a great Outreach and we got to see GOD work in so many different ways. This is not the place for a report but it we be coming soon.
I want to stop and think each and every one of you who have been (holdingthe rope) praying on our behalf to our Father above. Our prayers he in the OBP is always that Souls are saved and lives will be changed. And we have truly seen that and much more.

Week one has come and gone! We are halfway through our Olympic Outreach and all but 16 participants are on their way/have made it home. Please pray for safe travels and the week of continued outreach.

We will provide a more thorough update when we all make it back home but until then, praise God for the 5 professions of faith we have witnessed in the past week, as well as the thousands of seeds planted through conversations and scripture distribution!
