3 years have passed since our beautiful friend, Jenn, grew her angel wings. While we have no doubt Jenn’s angel wings are bedazzled and perfectly accessorized, we miss our girl.
Jenn was the wife of Jason, mother of Ryan and Noah, daughter of Brad and Noreen, twin sister to Dave, beloved friend, and adored teacher to many. Jenn shined in every facet of her life. Her smile was captivating. Her laugh was infectious. And Jenn shared her goodness with everyone. Jenn really was one in a million.
JJRS began because we wanted a way to continue spreading Jenn’s kindness and generosity. Since JJRS began, we have awarded nearly $20,000 to local children and aspiring teachers. What an immense privilege to secure Jenn’s lasting legacy while supporting so many young people pursue their passion.
Today, on Jenn’s 3rd anniversary, we would like to take it a step further. In honor of our dear friend, JJRS will be awarding $250 to a local first year teacher. This money will be used for setting up a new classroom and creating a safe, engaging & fun learning environment.
Nominate yourself or someone else by tagging them in this post today, July 14, 2026. A winner will be randomly selected and announced later this week.
Rules:
1. Nominees must be living and/or teaching on the South Shore, MA.
2. Nominees must be first year teachers (whether you’re fresh out of college OR just embarking on a new, later-in-life career change)
3. Nominees must have already been hired for a 2026-2027 teaching position and signed a contract.
To Jenn’s family, thank you for continuing to give JJRS the space to honor our beloved friend. We love you.
To our friends and family who continue to support JJRS, thank you, and we love you! We do this for Jenn, but we could not do it without you.
Jenn, we miss you desperately. We love you endlessly. We’ll take it from here.
Love,
Liz, Maryanne, Kelly, and Meghan
