It is always the intent of Abington Girls Softball to provide an opportunity for as many players as possible to participate in summer travel softball, while still being mindful that summer travel and tournament play is intended to be competitive in nature. We have implemented a modified process for the selection of players to summer teams this year, which we believe is the most equitable approach to balancing these two goals. Please refer to the email that has been sent out which is intended to provide you with a summary of the new selection process, eligibility requirements, and provide information to register your child/player to be considered for selection to a summer team. Please read carefully and note that in order to execute the new selection process as intended, you must register your child's interest in playing by the
MAY 1st deadline, as ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS will be made for players missing that deadline.

•This summer, teams will be based on coach player evaluations, and a possible try out if warranted to advance a more competitive team for the summer league and tournaments.

•IN ORDER TO BE A PART OF THIS EVALUATION PROCESS you must fill out this interest form below. This is not a registration but only an interest in having your child in consideration for a summer league team....
