June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month
Let’s talk about something real—right here in Maryland.

-1 in 5 adults in our state is living with a mental health condition each year
-More than 1 million Marylanders are impacted
And men?
-They are 3 times more likely to die by su***de than women

These aren’t just numbers.
They’re people we know. People we work with. People we care about.
But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough:
A lot of men don’t reach out—not because they don’t need support, but because they’ve been taught not to.
This month, we’re changing that.
At Key Point Health Services, we believe in a future where every individual has the support, dignity, and connection they need to thrive together. And we see every day what’s possible when someone feels safe enough to talk, to connect, and to take that first step.
Healing doesn’t happen alone—it happens in community, with the right support in place.
Whether it’s therapy, psychiatric care, PRP services, or helping someone figure out where to start—we’re here.
No pressure. No judgment. Just support.
-If you or someone you love is struggling, start with a conversation. Contact us at 443-625-1600
-You can also call or text 988 for 24/7, free, confidential support.
Because showing up for your mental health isn’t weakness—
it’s one of the strongest things you can do.

June is , a time when we reflect on the importance of dignity, respect, and equal access to care for all individuals.
At Key Point Health Services, our first core value is being Welcoming to All. We are committed to providing a supportive environment where every person is treated with compassion, understanding, and respect, regardless of background or identity. We remain focused on meeting individuals where they are.
This month, and every month, we remain focused on our mission to provide compassionate behavioral health care and advocate for the well-being of those we serve.

Last summer, for many of our kids, Kamp Key Point was their first time experiencing something new.
First time trying something outside their comfort zone.
First time feeling like they truly belonged.
First time building friendships in a safe, supportive space.
That’s what "Access by Design," a Key Point Core Value, means.
Our Child PRP program focuses on helping kids build social skills, confidence, and character—but camp is where those lessons come to life.
This year, we’re doing it again.
And you can help make it possible.

Special thanks to Delegate Kevin Hornberger for a great time and for your continued support for behavioral healthcare in Cecil County.
Thanks to 5th Company Brewing and they're excellent staff for hosting.
Happy to have also met and shared concerns for behavioral health access and care in Cecil and Anne Arundel counties with candidates, John Myrick for Governor of Maryland, Ken Schmid for Cecil County Council and Sherlock for District 1.

Let's take a moment to celebrate a very special milestone! 🎊💙

🎉 Congratulations to 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝘇𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 on 5 wonderful years at Key Point Health! 🎉👏

Kelly shared some heartfelt reflections on her journey:

"The past 5 years here at Key Point have been such a blessing to me. From day one, I have always felt welcome. Being able to help others brings me great joy. I started here in the front office, and within 2 weeks, the lead MA, Dawn Weaver, grabbed me to be her sidekick in the MA office—and I can say I truly love my job. 💙

I have learned so much over the past 5 years, and the time has gone by so fast. I've been able to share so many special memories with the friends I've made here—like the birth of my granddaughter and the marriages of two of my sons. 👶💍 I also began a new chapter in my own life, marrying the IT guy, James Fitzwater, just weeks after starting here. 💑💻

I am looking forward to the next 5 years at Key Point to see where they will lead me." ✨
