Loving And Caring Friends Initiatives Africa (LACAFIA) is a community based organisation in Luweero District.

it deals with issues concerning youths and children in the society. The organisation was formed on the following objectives;
(a) To ensure that vulnerable children and youths attend schools, technical institutions as well as universities. (b) To provide direct services to specific categories of vulnerable children with basic needs. (c) To address immediate challenges faced by the youths in the so

ciety such as poverty and unemployment. (d) To provide vocational skills training to youths
(e) To Provide psycho-social support for orphans and vulnerable children as well as availing counseling and guidance to youth affected by drugs and substance abuse
(f) To raise awareness and community education campaigns using community dialogues on Child protection issues and issues that affect youth such as HIV, reproductive health, livelihoods and life skills). (g) To promote and build capacities of parent support groups in communities. (h) To support and promote school-based peer education clubs
(i) To ensure behavioral change and communication and life planning skills training for young people
(j) To participate in advocacy campaigns on children and youth issues through carrying out social research on children/youth issues.
