The purpose of WRVA (Western RV Association), is to enhance the line of communication to and between all Western Chapters of FRVA.

The purpose of this organization, WMHA (Western Motor Home Association), is to enhance the line of communication to and between all Member Chapters of FMCA located within the boundaries of the Western Area of the National Organization as defined by the Governing Board. Additionally to consolidate the efforts of all member Chapters in contributing toward the conduct of area-wide events such as area

rallies, RV shows, and to assist FMCA with the production of National Conventions that fall within the confines of the Western Area. The Western Area has its annual rally in Indio, CA during the first part of January each year. This rally brings between 1,100 to 1,500 family coaches to gather at the Indio Fairgrounds.

Welcome to the Western RV Association of FRVA website!

As the President of the Western RV Association, I am thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant community. Our purpose is to bring together and open up the lines of communication among the Western Area Chapters. We host area rallies, RV shows, and assist FRVA with the National Conventions that fall within the Western Area.

One of our most anticipated events is the annual rally held in Indio, CA, during the first part of January. This rally attracts RV enthusiasts from near and far to gather at the Indio Fairgrounds. It is the only area rally that features a theme parade, floats, games, and tons of fun. Whether you're an RV owner or simply curious about the lifestyle, this rally is open to everyone. You don't need to belong to a chapter to participate, but chapter membership is encouraged as it adds significant opportunities for fun and fellowship, and gives you the chance to use your RV more frequently.

We are thrilled to announce that the Western RV Association (FRVA) 35th Annual Indio Rally is officially on the books! Contracts have been signed, plans are underway, and we can't wait to welcome you all back for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.

The City of Indio is just as excited as we are to host the 2026 rally. It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our shared passion for RVing, make new friends, reconnect with old one, and create cherished memories together.

The Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) has changed its name to Family RV Association (FRVA) to better reflect its mission of supporting owners of all types of RVs. The name change was decided by the FMCA Governing Board during its annual meeting on August 14, 2024. FMCA .developed a new logo to accompany the revised name and is in the process of transitioning to the new brand. FMCA was founded in 1963 and has been helping RVers form connections with fellow RV travelers for over 60 years.
To better reflect its mission of welcoming and supporting owners of all types of RVs, Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) is doing business as Family RV Association. The association developed a new logo to accompany the revised name, as well as a rollout of the new brand.
The new name retains the word "Family," something that has been at the heart of the association since its founding in 1963 and has been part of the "Your RVing Family" tagline the organization has used for several years.
