💥A roundtable entitled “The Role and Status of Women in Independent Tajikistan” was held at the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security Agency (CBRN SSA) of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan (NAST), as part of the activities outlined in the plan of the national chapter 🌷 Women in Nuclear Tajikistan, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.🌷

🎉A Laboratory for the Identification of Dual-Use Goods Has Begun

On 25 June 2026, a new Laboratory for the Identification of Dual-Use Goods officially commenced operations at the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. The laboratory has been established to strengthen the country's expert and analytical capacities in the fields of state control, export control, and the implementation of the Republic of Tajikistan's international obligations related to the prevention of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

The opening ceremony was attended by Academician Qobiljon Khushvakhtzoda, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan; Ilhom Amonzoda, Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences; Professor Ilhom Mirsaidzoda, Director of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Security Agency; directors of research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences; and representatives of relevant government institutions.

Зимни вохӯрӣ масъалаҳои рушди иштироки занон дар соҳаи ядроӣ ва ҷалби ҷавонон ба ин самт баррасӣ гардиданд. Стейскал Сандра Мари фаъолияти WiN Tajikistan-ро муҳим арзёбӣ намуда, аз ташаббусҳои занони фаъоли Тоҷикистон дар соҳаи ядроӣ истиқбол кард.

🤝On 5 June 2026, IAEA expert Ms. Steyskal Sandra Marie held a meeting with members of WiN Tajikistan working at the CBRN SS Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, issues related to increasing women's participation in the nuclear field and engaging young people in this sector were discussed. Ms. Steyskal Sandra Marie highly appreciated the activities of WiN Tajikistan and welcomed the initiatives of active women in Tajikistan’s nuclear sector.

💥The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.

Дар чорабинӣ масъалаҳои таҳкими арзишҳои оилавӣ, баланд бардоштани маърифати занон ва ҷалби духтарон ба илм баррасӣ шуданд. Иштирокдорон таъкид намуданд, ки баргузории чорабиниҳои маърифатӣ дар мактабҳо ва донишгоҳҳо барои рушди зеҳнии ҷавонон ва баланд бардоштани мақоми зан дар ҷомеа муҳим мебошад.

💐Dushanbe, May 15 — A meeting dedicated to the “International Day of Families” was held at the CBRN SS Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan with the participation of the National Chapter of “Women in Nuclear.”

The event focused on strengthening family values, improving women’s education, and encouraging girls to engage in science. Participants emphasized the importance of organizing educational and awareness activities in schools and universities to support the intellectual development of youth and enhance the role of women in society.

On 14 May 2026, an open lesson was held at Secondary School No. 82 in Dushanbe as part of the State Programme “Twenty Years of Learning and Development of Natural, Exact and Mathematical Sciences” and in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Members of the national chapter of “Women in Nuclear” of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan participated in the event, delivering presentations on the development of science, the activities of the laboratory, the role of women and youth in the CBRN field, and the promotion of students’ engagement in exact sciences and STEM education.

👩‍💼🌿Рӯзҳои 4–5 май дар меҳмонхонаи Серениаи шаҳри Душанбе давраи омӯзишӣ оид ба масъалаҳои экологӣ бо ташаббуси Дафтари барномавии САҲА дар Душанбе баргузор гардид. Дар он кормандони Агентии амниятии ХБРЯ-и АМИТ , аъзои бахши миллии «Хонуми ядроӣ» — Шодмонова Мадина ва Мусоева Ситорабону иштирок намуда, дониш ва малакаи худро дар самти ҳифзи муҳити зист ва рушди маърифати экологӣ такмил доданд.
👩‍💼🍀On May 4–5, a training session on environmental issues was held at the Serena Hotel in Dushanbe at the initiative of the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe. Employees of the CBRN SS Agency of NAST, members of the national chapter of WiN Tajikiastan — Madina Shodmonova and Sitorabonu Musoeva — participated in the event and improved their knowledge and skills in environmental protection and the promotion of environmental awareness.

📍Dushanbe — From April 14 to l 24, open lessons were held for senior students of general secondary schools in Dushanbe. The events were organized in accordance with the WiN Tajikistan activity plan and within the framework of the “Twenty-Year Program for the Study and Development of Natural, Exact, and Mathematical Sciences in Education (2020–2040).”

🌍 Environmental Campaigns
🌿 Members of WiN Tajikistan place special emphasis on organizing environmental campaigns, which are aimed at promoting respect for nature and raising ecological awareness. 🌱
🌳 Since the beginning of the year, such activities have been carried out two to three times, contributing to a cleaner environment and the promotion of a “green” lifestyle. ♻️
