SITE Thailand is proud to be part of MICE Day 2026, joining TCEB Meetings & Incentives Department’s exclusive “Your Meeting, Upgraded” conversation. Together with TCEB, corporate leaders, and industry partners, the session explored how impactful meetings and incentive travel in Thailand can be shaped through strong collaboration.

Led by Supanich Thiansing, Director of Meetings and Incentives, TCEB, the discussion featured Paula (Punnaporn Wongjunpen), President of SITE Thailand, alongside Max Boontawee Jantasuwan, Vice President, and Jeannie Techasiriwan, Special Events Deputy Director at Amway Thailand.

Bangkok has been selected to host IBTM Asia Pacific 2027, marking the first Asian edition of the globally recognised IBTM portfolio. The event will take place on 9–10 June 2027 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

Led by Supawan Teerarat, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) highlighted this as a major step in strengthening Thailand’s position as a MICE hub in Asia Pacific, while fostering stronger global industry connections.

From the organiser side, Claudia Hall of IBTM shared the vision of expanding into a high-potential region, aiming to build one of Asia Pacific’s leading platforms for business events through impactful meetings and knowledge exchange.

With Bangkok’s strong infrastructure, connectivity, and support for international events, IBTM Asia Pacific 2027 is set to elevate the region’s role in the global MICE landscape.

SITE Thailand was proud to participate in “MICE & Me: Next Gen Towards the MICE Industry”, held on 3 April 2026 at Rangsit University and organized by the Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, College of Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

The event brought together key leaders from Thailand’s MICE sector to inspire and equip the next generation with a deeper understanding of the industry and its expanding career opportunities.

Representing SITE Thailand, Khun Talun Theng joined the panel discussion alongside distinguished speakers from Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA), Thai Hotels Association (THA), Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), and Event Management Association (EMA).

The seminar highlighted how MICE serves as a key economic driver, generating high-value spending and creating opportunities across tourism, marketing, technology, creative, and management sectors.

With more than 300 students, teachers, and guidance counselors in attendance, the event successfully strengthened the connection between academia and industry while inspiring future talents to explore career pathways in Thailand’s growing MICE landscape.
