🌿 Hello Outdoor! with Grade 3 Stamford American International School, Singapore!

What happens when students step outside the classroom and into the natural world? Learning becomes an experience they can see, touch, explore, and remember.

Through the JUMP! Experiences program, Grade 3 students explored Singapore’s unique ecosystems through hands-on experiences focused on teamwork, basic survival skills, wildlife, and environmental awareness.
🐚 At the Marine Center, students discovered the importance of coexisting with wildlife and protecting their local marine neighbors.
🌳 On a guided nature walk across the island, they explored Singapore’s diverse ecosystems and learned about the remarkable adaptations that help plants and animals thrive in their environment.
🤝 Through teamwork challenges, survival skill demonstrations, and outdoor exploration, students were encouraged to build confidence, collaborate with one another, and develop a deeper connection with the natural world.

This is what experiential education can look like: creating opportunities for students to learn with their environment, not just about it.

JUMP! Academy | This week, 10 new STS team members completed the first stage of their journey toward becoming Program Managers for JUMP! Experiences through an intensive three-day residential training in Thailand.

But this is only the beginning. Before independently leading programs, each participant will continue through a comprehensive development pathway that includes online learning, mentoring, field-based training, practical assessments, and ongoing coaching to ensure they are fully prepared to deliver safe, meaningful, and high-quality experiences for every student.

We're especially proud that four participants began their outdoor education journey through the OLC 2025 Cohort. Their growth into this next stage reflects the power of investing in people who demonstrate commitment, leadership, systems thinking, and a passion for continuous learning.

For us, training isn't a one-off event, it's a commitment. Because when schools entrust us with their students, we believe they deserve facilitators who meet the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and educational excellence.

Equipping the next generation of experiential educators. 🌍💼

A critical milestone has been achieved! Our JUMP! Outdoor Leadership Certification (OLC) participants have officially completed their Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification, fully equipped with CPR and AED training.

As a program dedicated to shaping future leaders in outdoor learning, establishing a rock-solid foundation in risk management and backcountry medicine is paramount. Our educators are now officially prepared to handle remote emergencies, mitigate risks, and lead their future student cohorts with absolute confidence.
