From Monday August 10 to Thursday August 14th, the National Public Health Agency is conducting an integrated training on Behavioural Intelligence and Infodemic Management (BIIM), the Community-Led Action (CLA) approach, and Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) preparedness for Ebola virus disease.
Suixteen (16) members of HRN-SL, each representing one district of Sierra Leone's 16 districts, are participating.
The training is being held at regional locations, in two separate batches.
From Monday 10th to Tuesday 11th August, yje training took place in Port Loko and Koinadugu for participants from neighbouring districts.
The last batch of training runs from Wednesday 12th to Thursday 13th August, for participants from nearby districts.
Other participants were drawn from the Risk Communication and Community Engagement units of the Ministry of Health and One Health partner institutions like the ministries of Environment and Agriculture.
