On 16th June 2026, the Children's Forum Network (CFN) hosted its Annual Debate and Public Speaking Competition at Family Kingdom, bringing together young people to engage on the critical issue of ending violence against children.

Representing the GNBN-SL, our National Deputy Director Mr Edward Tamba Kenneh served as one of the judges during the competition, assessing participants' presentations, arguments, and public speaking skills.

The event highlighted the importance of creating platforms where children can freely express their views, advocate for their rights, and contribute to conversations that affect their lives and well-being. The confidence, passion, and insightful contributions demonstrated by the participants were truly commendable.

We applauds the Children's Forum Network for this initiative and remains committed to supporting efforts that promote child rights, protection, and meaningful child participation.

Menstrual hygiene is a right, not a privilege.
This World Menstrual Hygiene Day, let’s break the stigma, support girls, and advocate for free access to sanitary pads because menstruation is natural, and no girl should be held back because of it. 💙🩸💚

On the the 10th May, Our CEO had the honor of joining Voice of Salone to discuss a very important topic: “Silent Cries: The Hidden Struggles of Youth and Children in a Noisy World.”
This conversation was a reminder that behind many smiles are untold stories, and as a community, we must learn to listen, protect, support, and create safer spaces for our children and youth to grow, dream, and thrive. The silence must end. Every child deserves to be heard. ❤️
