Across Africa, millions of families continue to live without access to safe and clean drinking water. Every day, mothers and children walk long distances under the hot sun searching for water. Many communities are forced to drink from polluted streams, stagnant ponds, and unsafe water sources that expose them to disease and hardship.

For many families, the struggle for water is a daily reality.

Children miss school because they spend hours collecting water. Women carry heavy containers over long distances. Communities face preventable illnesses caused by contaminated water.

Water is not a luxury. Water is life.

The International Islamic Youth League (IIYL) is launching an urgent campaign to construct 120 Water Wells Across Africa, providing sustainable access to clean drinking water for vulnerable communities, schools, mosques, orphan centres, refugee camps, and rural villages.
