Maria da Conceição, reconhecida como a pessoa mais idosa de Portugal, morreu este sábado, 22 de agosto, aos 113 anos e oito meses. A informação foi divulgada pela Santa Casa da Misericórdia de São Brás de Alportel, onde a centenária era utente. Natural de São Brás de Alportel, no distrito de Faro, Maria da Conceição nasceu a 22 de dezembro de 1912. Ao longo de mais de um século de vida, tornou-se uma figura de referência na comunidade local e, nos últimos anos, passou a ser reconhecida como a pessoa mais velha de Portugal. তিনি আমাদের সংগঠনের পুরনো সদস্য। আমরা তাঁর রূহের মাগফেরাত কামনা করি। পরিবারের প্রতি রইলো আমাদের গভীর সমবেদনা।

ইন্নালিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন!

জনাব টিপু হক, এক সময় আমাদের পর্তুগালেই ছিলেন। তিনি আমাদের সংগঠন পর্তুগাল বাংলাদেশ ফ্রেন্ডশিপ এ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সদস্য ছিলেন। একজন জন সজ্জন মানুষ ছিলেন। সবার সাথে তাঁর বেশ সুসম্পর্ক ছিল। পর্তুগালের পাসপোর্ট পেয়ে ইংল্যান্ডে বসবাস করেন।

যতদুর জানা যায়, বাসার সিঁড়ি থেকে পড়ে মারাত্মক আঘাত পেয়ে হসপিটালে শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ কারেন। খুব একটা বয়স হয়নি কিন্তু স্রস্টার ডাকে সারা দিয়ে চলে গেছেন ওপাড়ে।

মহান আল্লাহ্‌র কাছে তাঁর জন্য দোয়া করি আল্লাহ্‌ যেন তাকে বেহেস্ত নসীব করেন। আমরা আমাদের সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে তাঁর বিদেহী আত্মার শান্তি কামনা করি। তাঁর পরিবারের প্রতি আমাদের গভীর সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করছি। মহান আমাদের সকর সহায় হউন, আমীন।

PBFA - Portugal Bangladesh Friendship Association এর সন্মানিত প্রেসিডেন্ট এর জন্মদিন পালন উৎসব।

PBFA এর কার্যকরী পরিষদের সদস্যবৃন্দ ও তাদের পরিবার স্থানীয় একটি পিৎজা রেস্টুরেন্টে কেক কেটে সংগঠনের সভাপতি জনাব রানা তাসলিম উদ্দিন এর জন্মদিন পালন করেন। সভাপতি স্বস্ত্রীক উপস্থিত ছিলেন এবং সেই সাথে সংগঠনের সিনিয়র সদস্যবৃন্দ ও উপদেষ্টাগণও উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

সভাপতি তাঁর বক্তব্যে সকলকে আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন করেন। আগামিতে প্রত্যেক সদস্যের জন্মদিবস পালন করার নির্দেশ প্রদান করেন। এতে করে সংগঠন একটি পরিবারে পরিনত হবে এবং একে অপরের মাঝে হৃদ্যতা বৃদ্ধি পাবে বলে তিনি অভিমত প্রকাশ করেন।
