PRWG CADET PROGRAMS Official Fan Page of the PRWG Cadet Programs. Civil Air Patrol's cadet program is a traditional military cadet program.

CAP cadets wear modified versions of Air Force uniforms, hold rank and grade, and practice military customs and courtesies. They are also required to maintain physical fitness standards and are tested on their fitness and their knowledge of leadership and aerospace subjects for each promotion. The mission of the Cadet Programs is to provide the youth of our nation quality program that enhances the

ir leadership skills through an interest in aviation, and simultaneously provide services to the United States Air Force and the local community.

The Air Force Civil Engineering Academy gives Cadets a chance to learn about a career path in the USAF in Civil Engineering.

Cadets at this activity will receive a combination of classroom instruction as well as hands-on activities like:

Air Force Pararescue & Survival Orientation Course returns to the NCSA lineup for 2025.

This activity promotes teamwork, physical fitness and builds character. For 7 training days, cadets are introduced to some of the skills and requirements of Pararescuemen (PJs), Combat Rescue Officers (CROs), and Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) Specialists.

During PJOC, cadets gain experience and training in land navigation, survival techniques, rock climbing, rappelling and other skills used in combat rescue operations.

The Civil Air Patrol National Cyberspace Academy (CNCA) is a collection of cyber security career exploration and training courses. The goal is to increase cyber security knowledge and awareness and to forge a lifelong passion for cyber security. During our summer NCSAs, cadets receive daily briefings from various USAF Cyber Operations units as well as tours of operational facilities. They also receive advanced training in cyber security concepts to help hone their skills for CyberPatriot and other cyber defense competitions. Finally, cadets begin work towards cyber security certifications such as CompTIA's Security+ and Network+, and Cisco's Cisco Certified Network Administrator.

National Cyber Academy is offered at two campuses: Texas and Virginia.
Each campus offers a specific slate of courses.

National Cyber Academy - Virginia
Dates: 22-28 June 2025
Location: Hampton Roads, VA

National Cyber Academy - Texas
Dates: 19-26 July 2025
Location: San Antonio, TX

The MAR Honor Guard Academy's objective is to provide leadership training to cadets that will enable them to implement the Honor Guard Program within their individual wings and units. The Honor Guard Program contributes to both Civil Air Patrol and Mid-Atlantic Region by providing a highly visible public relations program. It allows cadets, and seniors to become Ambassadors for Civil Air Patrol and assist with both recruiting and retention.

The MAR HGA will provide training in 4 Honor Guard Elements:

(1) The Color Guard and Colors Element,
(2) The Ceremonial Element,
(3) The Funeral Element, and
(4) The Flag Element.

The International Air Cadet Exchange is a life-shaping experience. You will meet people from around the world who share the Exchange’s goal of promoting goodwill and fellowship through the common interest of aviation. You will receive special access to factories, airports, engineering laboratories, and government agencies; learning about how your host country contributes to the aviation community.

One day you may find yourself in the latest fighter simulator, the next day meeting high government officials at an official banquet, and hiking through pristine wilderness on yet another day. You will be joined not only by your fellow CAP cadets assigned to the country, but also by aviation cadets from a variety of countries representing five continents.

Using the backdrop of EAA's Airventure airshow, cadets hone their servant leadership skills. Through volunteer service to EAA by marshaling aircraft, finding overdue aircraft, working with exhibitors, and helping manage ultralight flightline operations, cadets experience first-hand one of the world's largest aerial events, gain emergency services experience, and practice teamwork.
