Join us in congratulating Rosetta on completing the Guitars for Vets Program and earning her graduation guitar and certificate at the Washington DC Chapter!

Rosetta served 20 years in the U.S. Army and credits the program for helping her deal with symptoms of anxiety and depression. She recommends that any Veteran who wants a change of pace from traditional counseling try the musical path.

We are honored to celebrate her achievement and welcome her into the growing community of G4V graduates. A special thank you to Instructor Nick Knowles for his guidance and support throughout Rosetta’s journey.

Congratulations, Rosetta, and thank you for your service! Enjoy your new Yamaha FG800J and welcome to the G4V family!

Today we also celebrate the symbol that has represented our nation through every chapter of its history. On Flag Day, we recognize the Stars and Stripes as a reminder of unity, service, sacrifice, and the freedoms we share.

Take a moment today to reflect on what our flag means and honor those who have helped protect all it stands for.

Happy Flag Day!

Today, we recognize Women’s Veterans Day and honor the women who have served our country with courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

Observed on June 12, Women’s Veterans Day commemorates the signing of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act in 1948, which allowed women to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

At Guitars for Vets, we are grateful for the women Veterans in our program, our volunteers, instructors, coordinators, and supporters who help make our mission possible every day.

To all women who have served: thank you for your service and for the impact you continue to make in your communities.
