This month marks a very special milestone as we celebrate 30 plus years of dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our beloved rescued satos.

For three decades, we have devoted countless hours to rescuing, rehabilitating, feeding, transporting, and finding loving homes for animals in need.

Through every challenge and every success, our mission has remained the same: to provide the very best care possible for the dogs and cats who depend on us.

This anniversary is a time to celebrate the lives that have been saved, the families that have been created, and the incredible community of supporters who have made this journey possible.

🐾OREO🐾Adopted🐾

✨ Our forever handsome and very lucky Oreo ✨
Oreo went through all the survival hurdles so many of our Satos sadly endure — abandonment, surviving on the streets, the rescue process, and life in a shelter cage while learning to trust and heal again.
But his story did not end there. Through resilience, patience, and hope, Oreo became part of one of our newest rescue flight endeavors, giving him the opportunity for a brand-new beginning… and ultimately leading him straight into the loving arms of his forever family. 🐾✈️❤️

Oreo, your strength and determination will continue to inspire so many of the other Satos still waiting for their chance at happiness.
Have an amazing life, little boy. You earned every bit of it.

This precious trio was saved from harm thanks to the compassion and quick action of our friends at St. Francis School.
These rescued kittens are now safe, receiving the love and care they deserve as they begin their journey toward a brighter future.
Every rescue reminds us that kindness can change lives. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and believe in our mission to protect vulnerable animals in need. 🐾💕

🐾Quijote🐾Adopted🐾

Our handsome Quijote overcame many obstacles along the way before finally reaching the loving arms of a family that will give him the care and love he deserves.
It was quite an adventurous journey getting to his destination at our partner shelter Broward Humane, where he was happily adopted. From surviving challenges on the streets to finding safety, love, and a forever home — his story is truly inspiring.
Have an amazing life, sweet Quijote. We can’t wait to hear all about your happy tails and new adventures ahead. ❤️🐾

🐾KENAI🐾Adopted🐾

One of the greatest outcomes when volunteers come to help our satos is when the love and affection they feel for them goes beyond just a day at the shelter cleaning cages and bowls, feeding them, and giving them love.
It is also that beautiful moment when one of our satos wags its tail and sends a message of love — a true connection made while doing something good for them.
That was Kenai’s story.
When Yaeliz Valencia came with a group to volunteer, she immediately made a special connection with Kenai. She took him home on a foster basis, but the love and bond between them quickly became much greater than just fostering.
Valentina went above and beyond for Kenai, making additional efforts and financial investments to have him thoroughly evaluated by her veterinarian. As a result, there was no turning back.
Kenai found his forever home and is now thriving, living his best life here in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
