🎓We’ve been busy… so please excuse our quietness here! 📚

While we may not always be posting, we have been working behind the scenes, helping change lives.

Today we’re celebrating one of our teen moms who is entering her final year of high school! 🎓✨

She needed a school uniform and school supplies to start the year prepared, and we were blessed to be able to help provide what she needed. 🎒

She also has some basic kitchen items she needs as she works toward building a more stable and independent future.

Because she lives on the opposite side of the island, we’ll be sending the items she needs directly to her in the mail. 📦📬

But our support goes beyond providing “things”.

We want to walk alongside the young people we serve by encouraging education, providing mentorship and life-skills support, connecting them with counseling and local organizations, and helping them access educational and vocational opportunities that can help them become more independent.

One year left. One step closer. One future being built.

💗Sometimes helping a young mother means meeting an immediate need. Sometimes it means helping her build a completely different future.

Recently, Help Puerto Rico Orphans was blessed to deliver a refrigerator to a young orphan mother in need. A working refrigerator may seem like a simple thing, but for a young orphan Mom, it can make a meaningful difference in their day-to-day life.

But our support doesn’t stop there.

Our goal is not to simply provide material assistance. We want to help young people overcome the circumstances they are facing and give them the tools, support, and opportunities to build a stronger future.

Through our programs, we work to connect young people with:

🤍 Counseling and therapeutic support
🤍 Organizations that provide additional resources
🤍 Educational opportunities
🤍 Vocational training and career development
🤍 Assistance in working toward their driver’s license and independence
🤍 Mentorship, life-skills training and positive support systems

We believe in helping without judgment while also empowering young people toward responsibility, independence and a brighter future.

Every situation is different, and sometimes the first step is simply meeting a basic need. From there, we want to walk alongside them and help them move forward.

We don’t just want to help someone get through today. We want to help them become equipped for tomorrow.

Thanks to your support, we were able to provide young girls from a local orphanage/home with uniforms, hair products, a colorful hair-braiding activity, filled with live music, singing, coloring activities, making beaded bracelets, and spending quality time together.

Time spent with girls who do not have a Mom or Dad in their lives is truly precious.

Thank you to Nativa Boutique Nativa Boutique and the countless other donors and volunteers who help us make moments like this a possibility.

🚨 Help Us Finish This Mission! 🚨

We need volunteers this Saturday!

An amazing team from and recently came out and tackled an enormous amount of work! Cutting down overgrown trees, power washing, scraping, hauling debris, and clearing loads of trash. The work was intense, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who helped.

But we’re not done yet.

There is still more work to be completed before this property is restored and ready to serve those in need.

Whether you can help for a couple of hours or the entire day, your time and effort will make a difference.

A celebration… and heartbreak on the very same day.

This week we celebrated children from one of the communities we serve for completing another school year. Thank you to , , and our volunteers for helping create a day filled with joy, encouragement, and unforgettable memories.

What many don’t see is that our work continues long after the events end.

One of the boys at this celebration, whom we have known for several years, received heartbreaking news that same evening: his mother had passed away. At just 13 years old, he is now facing life without either parent.

Please join us in praying for him and for his sister as she seeks to keep him with family during this difficult season.

These are the moments that remind us why this mission matters. Beyond the celebrations are real children walking through real hardships who need love, support, stability, and hope.

Your prayers, donations, and volunteer support help us be there when children need it most.

There’s something sacred about watching a child’s eyes light up, knowing they are loved, remembered, and not forgotten. 💞

This Día de Reyes, we watched hope unfold in real time. Through the generosity of our donors, the unity of community leaders, the collaboration of fellow nonprofits, and the hands and hearts of faithful volunteers, children across our island were blessed in ways that go far beyond gifts. 🇵🇷💗
