The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) urges citizens to take precautionary measures during the ongoing heatwave conditions affecting various parts of the country. Extreme temperatures can cause dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke, especially among children, elderly individuals, and outdoor workers.

☀️ Stay Safe — Follow These Precautions:
• Avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak hours
• Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated
• Wear light-colored, loose cotton clothes
• Avoid direct sunlight and stay in shaded or cool areas
• Never leave children or pets inside parked vehicles
• Use umbrellas, caps, and sunscreen when outdoors
• In case of dizziness, headache, or nausea, seek medical assistance immediately

🚨 NDMA advises all provincial departments and emergency services to remain vigilant and ensure preparedness to respond to heat-related emergencies.
