Adventure with a heart

Project Lingap (Registered as Lingap Voluntourism PH : Registration No: CN201522118) aims to help in the development of unreached indigenous communities in the Philippines by engaging young professionals in meaningful travel experiences and various volunteering activities that will help to address the pressing needs of the communities and be able to partner with the local community in championing advocacies such as access to education, potable water, and sustainable living, thus alleviating the lives of its constituents. Dubbed as an adventure with a heart, Project Lingap organizes fun and fulfilling getaways that also serve as avenues to connect people, young professionals in particular, in establishing authentic friendships through worthwhile and noble cause. Education
Although records show that the Philippines’ literacy rate is high, a big percentage of indigent children do not have access to schooling. Since most of them are incapable, we partner with various institutions and with the DepEd in uplifting their current educational status. Part of our efforts are scholarship grants, literacy programs, and educational facility improvement. Potable Water
- According to WHO (World Health Organization), almost 80% of the Philippine population do not have access to safe water. Together with Waves for Water, we endeavour to bring a simple technology to far flung areas, that will make their water drinkable. Sustainable Living
- Inspired by the saying, “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”, we partner with the local government and other NGOs in giving the communities livelihood opportunities, addressing community health issues, and in dealing with poverty.

This past Independence Day, we returned to Ducligan, Banaue, Ifugao for another meaningful Kidukasyon outreach, celebrating not only our nation's freedom, but also the power of education, community, and compassion. 💛🫶🏽

This year, we were blessed to support 28 elementary and 28 high school students, including several new children who joined the Kidukasyon family, while also celebrating our newly graduated scholars. Through the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, we provided educational stipends, school supplies, and hygiene kits to help them continue their journey in school.

This year was also especially meaningful as Project Lingap was officially recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) as a partner under the Adopt-a-School Program, a milestone that strengthens our commitment to supporting education and creating opportunities for indigenous communities.

Beyond the assistance, what made the weekend truly special were the moments we shared together– heartwarming presentations from the children, fun performances from the parents, traditional dances, storytelling sessions, games, laughter, and meaningful conversations that reminded us why we keep coming back year after year.

To our volunteers who traveled, shared their time, energy, and resources, thank you for embodying the spirit of Adventure with a Heart. To our sponsors and donors, thank you for making this possible. To the parents who helped us prepare food for everbody. And to the families and community of Ducligan, thank you for welcoming us into your lives and allowing us to be part of your stories. Above all, thanks to God for sustaining this project.

As we celebrate another successful Kidukasyon, we hope that the spirit of lingap continues to ripple outward. May every act of kindness inspire another. May every helping hand encourage more people to care. And may the compassion we shared spread far beyond Ducligan, reaching more communities and touching more lives.

🌱 Kidukasyon 2026: Ducligan, Banaue, Ifugao 🎒

This June 12–14, Project Lingap returns once again to the mountains of Ifugao for Kidukasyon 2026 — our annual outreach and education support initiative for the children of Ducligan, Banaue.

For more than a decade, we have continued walking alongside the community to help keep children in school and remind them that they are supported, valued, and never alone in their journey. Through your generosity, support turns into financial assistance, school supplies, hygiene kits, shared experiences, and hope for a brighter future.
