| Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1239, s. 2026, Cebu Doctors’ University has declared class and work suspension on May 7 and 8, 2026 in support of the 48th ASEAN Summit.
📌classes and work for CDU students and staff are suspended on the said dates.
📌non-academic activities of the Senior High School will continue as scheduled. Students and stakeholders are welcome to attend but not mandatory. Essential offices that will support the events are required to report to work.
📌Regular operations will resume on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Please stay updated and follow advisories as traffic and security measures will be heightened during the summit.

| CLASS & WORK SUSPENSION

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1239, s. 2026, Cebu Doctors' University announces that there will be no regular office operations and classes on May 7 and 8, 2026.

This measure supports the hosting of the 48th ASEAN Summit by facilitating traffic management and ensuring the security of international delegates within the region. Following the inclusion of Mandaue City and Cebu City as identified transport routes, these areas now join the City of Lapu-Lapu and the Municipality of Cordova in observing the special non-working days.

Please be advised that the non-academic activities of the Senior High School will continue as scheduled. Students and stakeholders are welcome to attend but not mandatory. Essential offices that will support the events are required to report to work.

Regular operations will resume on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Join us for SINABTANAY 2026: A Face-to-Face Filipino Sign Language Workshop, co-organized by AMSA-ALSA and AMSA-DASIG.

This meaningful workshop aims to promote inclusive communication and accessible healthcare by introducing participants to the basics of Filipino Sign Language (FSL) and deepening awareness of the communication barriers experienced by the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

As future healthcare professionals and advocates, let us take one step closer toward building a more inclusive, compassionate, and patient-centered healthcare environment where every voice and every sign is understood.
