Are you a CDU international undergraduate student trying to navigate daily life in Cebu or a Stallion medical student preparing for future patient consultations and clinical history-taking? Communication is key, and we are here to help you bridge the gap.

The CDU College of Medicine Student Council, in partnership with the CDU Supreme Student Council, proudly presents BASIC CEBUANO: A TWO-WEEK INTENSIVE LANGUAGE COURSE! This online course is specially designed to help you grasp the basics of the language. Upon the successful submission of all tasks and examinations, a Certificate of Completion will be provided to all participants.

To join the intensive course, participants must ensure they meet a few basic technical and registration requirements. You will need a stable internet connection, a personal computer, a working microphone and camera, and a basic Google account. The registration fee is ₱500 pesos for local students and $10 USD for international students. Slots are limited, so secure your spot today by scanning the QR code featured on the attached material.

| Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1239, s. 2026, Cebu Doctors’ University has declared class and work suspension on May 7 and 8, 2026 in support of the 48th ASEAN Summit.
📌classes and work for CDU students and staff are suspended on the said dates.
📌non-academic activities of the Senior High School will continue as scheduled. Students and stakeholders are welcome to attend but not mandatory. Essential offices that will support the events are required to report to work.
📌Regular operations will resume on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Please stay updated and follow advisories as traffic and security measures will be heightened during the summit.

| CLASS & WORK SUSPENSION

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1239, s. 2026, Cebu Doctors' University announces that there will be no regular office operations and classes on May 7 and 8, 2026.

This measure supports the hosting of the 48th ASEAN Summit by facilitating traffic management and ensuring the security of international delegates within the region. Following the inclusion of Mandaue City and Cebu City as identified transport routes, these areas now join the City of Lapu-Lapu and the Municipality of Cordova in observing the special non-working days.

Please be advised that the non-academic activities of the Senior High School will continue as scheduled. Students and stakeholders are welcome to attend but not mandatory. Essential offices that will support the events are required to report to work.

Regular operations will resume on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
