A successful three-day journey of learning, collaboration, and scientific discovery!

From February 24 to 26, 2026, the Ecotrace Initiative: Microplastics Sampling and Isolation Techniques took place at DRTREFI Medical Biology Laboratory. It brought together participants, faculty, and researchers for an engaging training focused on methods for sampling, isolating, and detecting microplastics.

With interactive lectures, hands-on lab sessions, and demonstrations, participants walked away with valuable skills. They also developed a deeper awareness of how microplastics affect our water, soil, and food systems, which is becoming a growing concern for public health.

This event shows dedication to science, turning knowledge into action to protect our environment for better tomorrow.
