We are delighted to inform you that the money collected in the donation campaign by THE BOY SCOUT OF THE PHILIPPINES RTRMF-DVOREF CHAPTER has been successfully donated to UNICEF Philippines Children of Gaza on June 30, 2024. This campaign, which began on June 12, 2024, has made a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need, thanks to your generous contributions.

The hostilities in Palestine, particularly in Gaza, is still ongoing and its scale is continuously escalating, causing extensive destruction and immense suffering. Millions of Palestinians are displaced, with thousands injured, missing, or trapped under rubble. The situation is dire, with critical shortages in medical supplies and basic necessities. In May 2024, the head of the United Nations World Food Program stated that Northern Gaza is in full-blown famine. International organizations and local communities are working tirelessly to provide relief, but they need more support. Thus, an urgent call for humanitarian aid is critically needed.

The BSP RTRMF-DVOREF Chapter stands in solidarity with the innocent civilians caught in this violence and advocates for an immediate and permanent ceasefire. As members of this organization, we uphold the values of being one. With this, we recognize our privileges and extend our support to those in need. We urge you to join us in this mission.

In the heart of the wilderness, a group of eager Scouts of RTRMF-DVOREF Chapter embarked on a mission that would leave a lasting mark on the environment.

โžœ Their destination?
A picturesque mountain located in the Bypass Road at Brgy. 91 Abucay, Tacloban City.

Tree planting is a fundamental practice that serves a multitude of crucial purposes, all of which are deeply intertwined with the well-being of our planet and humanity as a whole. The act of tree planting had not only fostered a profound connection between the Scouts and the natural world but had also imbued them with an enduring sense of responsibility for its overall well-being.

Their involvement in this reforestation endeavor went beyond the mere act of placing saplings into the earth; it was a transformative experience that left an indelible mark on their hearts and minds.

The ๐๐’๐ ๐‘๐“๐‘๐Œ๐…-๐ƒ๐•๐Ž๐‘๐„๐… would like to extend their gratitude to the Tacloban City Associate Council for letting the scouts experience such a thrilling tree planting event last September 30, 2023.
