Our innovators have once again made their mark at the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐫𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔), where brilliant minds from across Eastern Visayas gathered to present innovative ideas and technology-driven solutions. Both teams proudly represented the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tanauan, Leyte, in two major competitions.

Leading the achievements was 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝, composed of 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐜𝐨𝐧, 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐓. 𝐇𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚, and 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐔𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐆. 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨, who emerged as 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 in the 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 competition with their project, 𝐊𝐚𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐚.

KaSaKa is an all-in-one precision agriculture device and application that provides real-time soil condition data. Through this innovation, the team aims to help users make informed agricultural decisions and promote more efficient farming practices through technology.

Meanwhile, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐄𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐭, composed of 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐍. 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐚, 𝐀𝐱𝐲𝐥𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐝 𝐆. 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐥, and 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏. 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐝𝐚𝐨, secured 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟒𝟖-𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 with 𝐀𝐆𝐎𝐒: 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬.

Addressing concerns surrounding water availability and resource management, AGOS promotes water reuse and rainwater harvesting to maximize available water resources. The proposed solution highlights the importance of reducing water waste and supporting more sustainable water management in communities.

Mentored by Prof. 𝐖𝐢𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐓. 𝐏𝐚ñ𝐚, these accomplishments reflect the creativity, perseverance, and technical excellence fostered within our department. Congratulations to both teams and their mentor on these remarkable achievements! May their success inspire fellow EVSUnistas to continue innovating, overcoming challenges, and developing practical solutions for a more sustainable future.
