Debaters and adjudicators don't begin as experts right away. Every journey starts somewhere – often at the initial stage of hesitant speeches, nervousness, and trembling hands, which some continue to experience even now!

All that's required is the aspiration to grow, a spark of interest in public speaking, and the courage to step onto the stage, willingly embracing the learning process. 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚, 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝘿𝘿𝙎!

Applications are open on the 16th and 17th of August during the Sigabo Event. You can find our booth inside the RTRMF-DVOREF Gymnasium on the first floor. So widen your eyes so that you may raise your voice! 👀 🗣️

Hear, hear! 💥

At the DVOREF College of Law Building, Moot Court 1 is where the adventure of words and ideas begin. In the magical hours of 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM unleash your voice.

An orientation will take place to introduce you to the how-to basics of debate, the different roles in debate, as well as give you an insight as to how trainings and competitions will take place. And, of course, we will also be given a chance to get to know each other. We know of the varying degrees of experience among everyone and we hope this will be a fun learning experience for all of us. Do not worry because we are all here to guide each other and grow through the process. We look forward to learning and interacting with you guys. But for now, we hope for your active participation and enthusiastic attention in today's activities as we delve into the world of debate. Moreover, a screening of applicants and election of officers will also take place. On that note, we welcome you to the RTRMF-DVOREF Debate Society Orientation 2023. May we have a fun-filled, open-minded, and fruitful discourse today! Again, thank you. And enjoy the rest of the orientation. ❤️‍🔥🏁

(Pre-first semester applicants can run for executive positions and the committee elections that will happen later on. Mid-first semester applicants can run for committee elections only because the executive board would be filled up na. Mid-second semester applications would be open to incoming G12.)
