PICPAโAntique Holds Turnover and Induction Ceremony for F.Y. 2025โ2026
The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) โ Antique Chapter held its Turnover and Induction Ceremony on November 28, 2025, at Hotel Kinaray-a in San Jose de Buenavista, Antique, marking a significant leadership transition and the formal induction of new officers and members for the Fiscal Year (F.Y.) 2025โ2026.
During the event, outgoing President Mr. Jose Ronnie R. Fenita, CPA, officially handed over the presidency to Mr. Arvin J. Lapastora, CPA, who will serve as Chapter President for the new term. President Fenita highlighted the Chapterโs accomplishments over the past year and expressed his sincere appreciation to members for their unwavering support and cooperation.
In his inaugural message, President Lapastora emphasized the value of purposeful action and transformative impact in the accountancy profession. He reiterated the Chapterโs commitment to meaningful initiatives, professional development, and active community engagement, aiming to elevate the visibility and relevance of PICPAโAntique in the province and beyond.
The induction program featured the swearing-in of new members and officers. Mr. Dionisio M. Villeta, CPA, Junior Regional Director โ PICPA Western Visayas and National Executive Vice-President for FY 2025โ2026, officiated the oath of new chapter members, while Atty. Pauline Grace B. Alfuente, CPA, Senior Regional Director โ PICPA Western Visayas for FY 2025โ2026, administered the oath of the new chapter officers and committee members. Both leaders delivered inspiring messages encouraging the inductees to uphold the values and responsibilities of the accountancy profession.
One of the highlights of the evening was the response delivered by new chapter member, Mr. June Mark A. Vallermosa, CPA, who shared his inspiring journey of perseverance. Mr. Vallermosa remained committed to his studies and rose above the challenges to successfully become a CPA, embodying resilience, determination, and the values of the profession. His story resonated with the audience, inspiring both new and seasoned members alike.
Members, officers, and guests likewise engaged in meaningful conversations and shared a meal together, fostering a sense of camaraderie that complemented the formal proceedings of the event.
With its new leadership in place, PICPA - Antique Chapter looks forward to a year marked by purposeful initiatives and strengthened collaboration within the accountancy community.
